Twenty-six teams participated in our 8th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Arrowsmith Golf Course on Saturday July 20, 2019. We were lucky to have wonderful weather throughout the day and golfers, many dressed as 60s flower children to match the "hippies" theme, enjoyed a fun 18 holes with many laughs.
The small group of paddlers who organized the event were congratulated by all for their work (from wrapping and setting up the silent auction to setting up the challenges on various holes, to arranging the prizes). Our coach, Jo-Ann (assisted by the wonderful Gabby and Haley) MC'ed the dinner and distributed prizes with aplomb.
